Miracle

After Jose mother died is father was harsher then when she was
alive. Jose mother made the house fill with wonder and love. They lived in
Mexico, and were very poor. Jose was always amazed that his mother had something
to put on the table. When Jose started to draw, his mother tied to get him
paper so that he wouldn’t have to draw on paper bags. Jose’s father Maldonado
thought that Jose was wasting his time, and should do more important things.
Jose had drawn many pictures.
About a month after Jose’s mother died a man in a
fancy suit came and told Maldonado that he had three months to get off the
land. They couldn’t just buy more land, so Maldonado had to cross the border
and find work in California. After a month Maldonado was going to have Jose
come up and work too. Once they got enough money they would buy a house and
find better jobs, then working in fields. Jose’s scared though, what if he gets
caught, he’ll be sent home, then what?
I think The Book looks great i wonder what happens next.
