Book Four:
Gathering Blue

Kira is an orphan. She lost her father before she was
born, and her mother died recently. Kira was born with a crippled leg, and the
only reason she wasn't thrown out of the village as a baby was because her
mother told them not to take her.
Now
that her mother is gone, Kira has no protection but her incredible talent. She
is the only one in the village with the ability to create color dyes. She is
spared from death because of her talent at making beautiful clothes and fabric.
She is assigned to repair a sacred robe that the singer of the past wears.
With
this new honor given to her, Kira is able to discover that there are many
secrets in her village. She tries to discover them without anyone finding out.
Along the way she also discovers the secrets of the world beyond her own. This
book is an excellent one and helps round out the ending to The Giver.
This sounds like a good book, I like all the detail you put into it. Good job!

ReplyDeleteThe first time I looked at your review I thought you left a lot of good details out, and you probably have, but it ended up pretty good. Only one question though, why is the font different for the first part of your review, but different in the end?
