Run or Die #4

Run or Die
By: Kilian Jornet
To achieve what the body simply cannot overcome merely an obstacle for ultra-runner Kilian Jornet. Jornet has struck down world records with room to spare. He continues to push his body to the breaking point. His fans enjoy watching this super-human accomplish incredible things. Run or Die is a book that lets the reader experience all of the many adventures that Jornet has achieved.
He has been a part of racing events since he could participate in them. Jornet first enjoyed skiing. He was at the top of his game then it all stopped with a crash that had him sitting in a wheel chair for a while, he never liked to stay put, so whenever he could sneak a bike ride, he did.
He also loved to run. Most days he would get up before the sun did and go run for several hours. One of his most strenuous runs was when he started at the Atlantic Ocean then ran across Africa to the Mediterranean Sea. His body wanted to quit, but he had the capability to push through the pain and suffering.

I enjoyed reading Run or Die it gave me advice to run even better and to know how far the body’s endurance can really go. Each story kept me turning the pages and wanting to know more.

  1. This was a really good review. I liked how you added the part when he was in a wheel chair, but still had to do what he loved. It probably isn't a book I would read but good job!
