“May
3, 2008 tragedy strikes Garvin High. Nick Levil shot up the school leaving 6
dead and many wounded. Levil ‘s victims were not chosen at random. He and his
girlfriend, Valerie Leftman, made a hate list of people and things they don’t
like. Apparently they didn’t want to deal with them anymore. Although Leftman
was not caught shooting, police are still determining if she is guilty. “
Valerie
Leftman didn’t like very many people but she didn’t want anyone to die. She especially
didn’t want Nick to die. After the incident Val left with a bullet in her leg
and her boyfriend dead.
Valerie
was proved not guilty, but her parents still believe she had
something to do with it. Most people believe she had something to do with it.
Except a few and one of those people was the girl she saved, Jessica Campbell.
Jessica tries to be friends with Val, at first Valerie thinks it’s a scam. Then
she realizes she actually likes Jessica.
So
many crazy things happen in this book. It is happy, sad, and sometimes extremely
frustrating. It always leaves you with questions like will she ever be okay again?
Will she ever be able to let go of the precious
memories of Nick? Will she survive her senior year or will she end it?
this sounds like a good book, and you did a good review, lots of detail.
