By: Lurlene McDaniel

Katie O’Roark, suffered an illness in her heart that caused her to have  a heart transplant. Thanks to the One Last Wish Foundation, Katie is given a new chance at life. After her transplant she attended a camp at the Jenny House, which is a camp honoring Mr. Holloway, the camp director’s daughter who died while fighting cancer. While she was there, disaster hit, the Jenny House caught fire and burned to the ground, Katie thought she would never get to come back to the Jenny House, a year later, the Jenny House is being rebuilt and Katie was been invited to be a counselor.                                                                                    When Katie arrives at the Jenny House, she discovers her former boyfriend Josh Martel is also a counselor. After a year of not being together, Josh decided to tell Katie that he still had feelings for her, but Katie doesn’t feel the same way about him. Suddenly, Josh is being rushed to the hospital, and Katie finds herself wondering if he will be okay, and if she really does love him, being back in the hospital reminds her of how Josh never left her side while she was there years ago, and Katie promises him that she won’t let him go through it alone either. This book is full of action, and mystery and love, with suspense to keep you turning the pages.
