Ranger’s apprentice

Ranger’s apprentice book: 9 Review 4 by: Porter Nichols

“Ranger’s Apprentice: Halts Peril” is truly a book full of dangers and perils that Will, Horace, and Halt go through. As Halt miss a gathering, an annual meeting of the ranger’s, Will know something is wrong and so asks Crowley where he is. It turns out that Halt is in a small town that boarders a natural harbor. Where he got wind of a cult that sounded fairly familiar it turns out that actually is the out siders that were crushed a while ago and was already taking root again when he got there. As he managed to stop them and capture the on in charge in that region and got information that the cult had taken well into Herbinia and was moving to get the rest. After Halt, Will, and Horace stopped them there and chased them all over the place to end up back in Araluen and fallowed them unobtrusively then finally get ambushed by hired assassins where halt is nailed by a bolt, did he die from it no it was merely a flesh wound not a problem, right well little did they know anything was wrong until the next day. That’s when things took a turn for the worst. It’s amazing how close to death someone can get to death and live. This book is full of suspense and it may not be your favorite but if sucked into this series good luck getting out again.
