Walking Dead
(Rise of the governor)

Survival defines life, death, well, as for Brian Blake and the rest of the survivors; it’s only a matter of time.  Living day and night, wondering who’s behind the door, to see himself dead in his tracks running into death at every corner. Gaining and loosing loved ones with ups and downs, with his brother causing his family to fall apart. Having to choose his brother or his life when goes wrong.

The main characters in this novel have to fight against zombies and other survivors, as well. Phillip, Brian’s brother builds a town protected from zombies with other living survivors. With the little food that they have, they find survivors living in a jail, which is more like a prison.

Phillip is constantly battling the people on the jail for what they have. He wants the entire jail because it is more protected. Along with the protection, he wants the food, clothing, and warmth that the jail has to offer.

Death is inevitable for most of the characters in the story, with time running out day after day. Fighting was just a way of survival for many people involved in this story. More lives were lost than could be kept.
