A Wrinkle In Time

Meg Murry can’t sleep. She is too busy thinking about her beloved father who had gone missing two years earlier working for the government.   Ever since her father has gone missing her family has never been the same, but they refuse to believe he is dead. Meg is always hearing snide remarks about her dad and her oddball brother Charles Wallace. Charles Wallace has always been different from everybody, for instance he knows how to talk better than most adults, he just doesn’t do it around many people. He also knows Meg and Mrs. Murry better than anyone. So when Meg heads down, stairs for a glass of hot chocolate to settle herself down Charles Wallace is already there expecting her and Mrs. Murry, who comes just a little after her. They talk a little bit when all of a sudden someone is knocking at the door. When Mrs. Murry lets the unexpected visitor in it turns out to be an aquatint’s of Charles Wallace. The visitors name is Mrs. Whatsit and she is a VERY interesting old lady. Her arrival sparks a series of events including space travel, extra-terrestrials, super powerful beings, and three very interesting old ladies.
