            Harry potter and the Chambers of Secrets takes place a few months after the first book ended off at. Know it is summer vacation and Harry has to live with his mean aunt and uncle for a few months before he can go back to Hogwarts. On the night of Harry’s 12^th birthday, he looks out the window and sees two lights and they get closer and closer. Then the lights turn and harry gets a better look and sees that it is a car that is flying.

            In the car is his best friend Ron Wesley and his brothers Fred and George. Fred and George then get out helping load in Harry’s stuff into then car.  Before harry gets in his uncle runs into the room and grabs Harry’s foot bet he falls out the window and harry is able to get into the car.

             They then drive off to the Wesley’s House in the middle of know where, and it is a tall beat up shack. When he gets in he can see that the house chores are being done magically. They try to sneak up stairs. Mrs. Wesley gets to them first. They then sit down for breakfast and Mr. Wesley shows up for breakfast. After breakfast they go to Digon Ally to go buy school supplies.

            The next day they go to the train station to get on the train but Ron and Harry don’t get on in time. They go out and take the flying car, and when they get to Hogwarts they crash into a tree and the car goes without them. They get to the school just in time for the feast. They start to go to their classes the next day but when they are going to their common room, they find some righting in blood on the wall. They start to find out what is happening and they find out that a giant snake in paralyzing students and has taken Ron’s sister Ginny in to the chambers of secretes. Ron and Harry find the chambers of secretes and go down to find the snake.

When they get down their Tom Riddle is down there with Ginny and Tom Riddle is Lord Voldemort. Harry then finds the sorting hat and pulls a sword out of it and sabs the snake in the head but gets poised by the snakes tooth. Harry is able to stop Tom Riddle and gets healed by Phinox tears and gets out of the chambers of secretes and completes another year of Hogwarts.
