book review #2

The Healing Spell

By: Kimberly Griffiths Little

Livie has a terrible secret. She has been hiding it and keeping away from her family. But she doesn’t know how much longer she can keep it inside. She knows she was the cause of her mother’s coma. And she fears that her father will find out, who she loves more than anyone else.

The question that scares her the most though is what if her mother never does wake up? And what if she was the cause of the whole thing? She would never be able to make up for what she did. Not only that, but its tearing all of her family apart. Everyone realizes how much they need her in their life.

Livie decides it’s up to her to wake her mamma before anyone finds out. She struggles between two sisters, as well as the truth as she learns the power of love and faith. Will she be able to find a way to wake her Mamma, as well as bring her family back together?

  4. The first two sentences has the power to pull in the reader and capture them till the end. Nice job on your word choice and giving away information but not too much. Great job.
