The Lost Hero

The Lost Hero

By: Rick Riordan

Jason can’t remember a thing. He strangely wakes up on a bus with Piper, who’s supposedly his girlfriend and his best friend’s name is Leo. They are on a bus at a boarding school for naughty kids called the wilderness school. “Did I do something bad to get here?” he wonders. He is so confused and wonders what happened, and why he was just plopped into a school he can’t remember a thing about or anyone there.

Jason, Piper, and Leo are all taken to Camp Half-Blood after being attacked by storm spirits that appeared at the wilderness school. And what just adds to Jason’s confusion is he finds out he is a demigod. Piper and Leo also find out they have been claimed by a God.

A prophecy foretold that they would go on a quest to save Hera, another one of the Gods. They feel so unprepared as they start. Piper is not only going to save Hera, but her Dad. Her Dad has been missing for three days. And she was told in a dream that if she doesn’t save him soon, he will die.

As they fight through their quest together, Jason starts to find bits and puzzle pieces of who he really is. And they find that their friendship grows stronger. Will Piper be able to save Hera as well as her Dad? Will Jason ever get his full memory back? Will they be able to complete their quest? All these questions are discovered as you unfold the story of The Lost Hero.
