Patrick Ewing

Patrick Ewing
Paul Wiener
Patrick Ewing ended his career NCAA champion, Olympic gold medalist, NBA rookie of the year, and multiple all-star appearances. He was amazing to achieve all this, especially knowing that he never even stepped on a basketball court until the age of 12.
Patrick Ewing was born in Kingston, Jamaica. His favorite sports as a child were soccer and cricket. When he and his family moved to Boston, he started playing basketball. He fell in love with the game. He later became one of the best players in the nation in high school basketball due to his raw talent.

Patrick later went to college, where his coach made him a defensive beast. Ewing led his college team to an NCAA championship victory. He was later drafted to the New York Knicks, where he remains to this day the all-time leading scorer there. Patrick Ewing was a true basketball warrior.
