Scottie Pippen has been the head coach for the dream team. Won
two NBA titles, and is a member of the Hall of Fame.
Scottie was the youngest of 12 children; he grew up in a small
town named Hamburg, Arkansas. He played high school basketball, he wasn’t anything
to spectacular. He was just an ordinary player that could play any position.
His coach pulls some string and got him to try out for a small college and he
made the team. He played for The University of Central Arkansas.
At college he still wasn’t a big super star. But NBA scouts
took notice in his skill to play all the position. He was then later drafted
into the NBA in the first round.
He was drafted with the bulls with Michael Jordan. Many thought
that Scottie would be playing in his shadow. When Jordan was struggle it was
Scottie who proved to be a major part of the bulls’ game. He had many great defense stops and making
explosive moves to the hoop.
“Michael will be remembered as the greatest player ever,”
Pippen remarked. “I just want to be remembered as a great play, period.”
I liked how you finished with a quote by Scottie Pippen.
