Blackmoore

Kate
Worthington has her mind set on going to India. She knows she will never be
able to marry who she loves, so she has decided to travel to India with her
aunt.
Kate
would already be traveling to India right now if it weren’t for her mother. Her
mother wishes only for Kate to marry. Not for love or joy, but for money. For a
smart match. Kate knows that she must go to India if she wants to escape her
Mother’s plans.
Kate
finds that there just might be hope to go. She and her mother make a bargain.
Kate will only be able to go to India if she rejects three marriage proposals. If
she fails, she will have to do what her mother asks her to do.
Determined
to fulfill her part of the bargain, Kate travels to a place called Blackmoore
with Henry Delafield, her dearest child hood friend. Only after a few days at
Blackmoore, Kate realizes her plan will fail. Who will propose to her? So she
comes up with a plan. She’ll ask Henry to propose to her three times, and she
will promise to reject them. Henry agrees to do this for her as a favor.
But
will Kate be able to reject all three proposals? Perhaps Henry could be the one
to set her heart free.
