Magic Johnson
Steven Frank
By Logan Hitz
Earvin “Magic” Johnson made himself one of
basketballs most appealing performers through hard work, fundamentals, and
court sense.
Magic Johnson grew up in
Lansing Michigan. Johnson always wanted to go to Sexton High School. The High School
is an all-black school. He was a phenomenal player. When he found out he couldn’t
go to Sexton he was upset. He tried out for the basketball team and made it. At
first Magic’s teammates wouldn’t pass him the ball. They were intimidated by
him.
Magic attended college at Michigan
State. Even though he was a 6’ 9” basketball player many thought he was going
to be a forward or a center but his coach saw something else. His coach put him
as a point guard.
Magic Johnson went on to the
NBA to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. He led them to win a championship in 1985
with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
This book is for Basketball
lovers. I really enjoyed this book.
Your book review was very good. I liked how you put in just enough detail. I liked how you didn't give the book all away good job.
