book review #3 Under the never Sky By Veronica Rossi

Under the never
Sky

                                     By Veronica Rossi
The door opened, everyone breathed in awaiting the wave of real air. Soren pushed the door open all the way “Freedom at last”. Hearing Soren say that made Aria shiver. Paisley graved Aria’s hand. Everyone followed Soren in. they were going into the real world not there world with all the Realms. The Realms were virtual spaces that we could go into, with the eye piece that’s on are left eye. The door led into a big open room that had rows of waist-high plastic mounds with decaying fruits and vegetables on top of them. Like everything in the Pod, they were genetically designed for efficiency. They didn't have leafs, didn't need soil, and would grow with very little water.

There was so much dust everywhere that Soren was leaving foot prints behind him. Soren, Echo, and Bane ran around throwing food at each other for about half an hour. When they were done they started to look for something else to entertain them. Soren found another big room full of big, old died trees. Soren told Echo and Bane to start gathering wood so that they could start a real fire.  Aria looked at Paisley; this is not a very good idea. When the boys were too busy to notice Aria and Paisley ran. They were pretty far in the orchard and were not sure where the door really was. Aria heard Soren behind her, “go get them!” Soren started to make wired animal noises, like a dog or wolf. They were acting like savages, the kind we were told about in the Pod. They were said to act like animals and eat human flesh.
Pretty soon the fire that the boys make lit the whole forest on fire. Soren was right behind Aria and Paisley, he tried to get Paisley but Aria shoved him. Paisley was able to just away but Aria was on the ground with Soren on top of her, pulling on her eye piece. Aria  screamed from the pain. Soren pulled her eye piece all the way off and throw it beside her. Aria looked behind Soren; the fire was getting bigger and bigger. There was smoke everywhere. From the fire came a shadow in the form of a man, Aria was too weak to tell if what she was seeing was real or not. Then the closer it got Aria realized that it was a real savage coming to them.
