Book Review 3: Imperfect Spirals- Debbie Levy

            Danielle is such a nice girl. She was hired to watch a sweet, innocent little 5-year-old while his parents are gone. His name was Humphrey. Never did she know, she wouldn't be watching him for long.

            By July, he almost through a perfect spiral... They would go to the park everyday and practice. Everytime was an ordinary walk home, but not this one. Danielle and Humphrey were set down ready to go back to his house on Quarry Road. It all happened so fast. Danielle saw a silver car zoom past as Humphrey dropped the football in the road. he ran out to get it as the car caught him. She couldn't believe what she saw.

            Danielle was paralyzed. She didn't know what to do. She thought his death was her fault. It wasn't. But, Danielle's guilt and grief are overwhelming. As controversy over the driver's identity builds, Danielle wants only to mourn the sweet little boy she grew to love and avoid the world around her... until an unexpected friendship with Justin, a boy she meets starts to bring her back to life. Will Danielle be blamed for Humphrey's death, or will she be hovered with this tragedy her whole life?

  1. This sounds like such a great book!! You did amazing on your review!! I like how you put enough details for the readers to know what happen, but not enough to give a lot away!! Good Job!!
