Messenger
 By: Lois Lowry
Matty is a boy in a village where there is no conflict or fears. Everyone helps every one. Matty Moved here as a young boy and was taught the ways of a good child. He is the only one with the  ability to navigate the forest without being killed. He hopes to one day earn  his true name Messenger.
Then the Trade Mart comes to the village. People are trading the deepest parts of themselves to get objects like gaming machines and women. The forest gets thicker and thicker. Matty must go on one last mission through the forest to bring back his friends crippled daughter.
The forest on his way back is really bad. There is really thick vines and underbrush. Eventually it gets so bad that he must use his gift to save the people he loves. He is willing to do this, as well as pay the ultimate price, his life.

This book is a great book and is a good sequel to the Giver.

  1. This book sounds really good. I like the way how you gave away plenty of information but not to much. Good job.
