Belly (Isabel) measures her life in summers. Every summer they go their Mom's Best Friend's house which is near the ocean. Winter is just a time for Belly to sit and count the months, weeks, days until they to the beach house. She is also the kind of girl who things happen to, good or bad. The summer she turns pretty changes everything.
Conrad, Jeremiah, and Steven hated when Belly got into their business, so they made up the no girls rule. They excluded her from everything! But one thing changed that all. This summer was different. People started to notice Belly. At a bonfire she meets Cam. They start to talk. He is straight edge which means he doesn't believe in polluting his body. He used to do drugs like no other.
They start dating and she gets her "first kiss." They go everywhere together. Cam and Belly took French together in 8th grade. At a competition he says he almost messed up on his speech so she could win. And never forgot her because she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The summer is about to end and they don't know what is going to happen. And she starts falling for Conrad.
I'm thinking we are all counting the months, weeks, days (nice magic 3, by the way) until SUMMER! This winter is seriously killer ;(
