Marley and Me by: John Grogan

Bonnie a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes found a puppy and named him Marley a golden retriever. Bonnie met Marley when she was walking home from school. She acted like she did not see him there but he followed her home. Her dad asked where she got the dog she said that “he followed her home”. Her dad said they would put up sighs to see who’s dog it was but no one claimed him so Bonnie got to keep Marley. Years went by and Bonnie and Marley played and played together. Everything was right in the world thought Bonnie. A week later Marley got sick and the vet said he only had a few days to live, Bonnie was so terrified. Marley could barely walk or stand he was so weak. This book is a fun good old time book but it is also a sad and heart breaking book.
