Then Again Maybe I Won’t
When Tony Miglione’s dad strikes rich with a new invention of
his, he is now boring yet exciting Jersey life is turned around because now he
is really, really rich, but everything has changed… and not in a good way. He
has moved from Jersey City to Rosemont. He has a BIG house, which is right by
his new “best friend.” His family is now very, very different. His dad is now
busy with work; his mom suddenly climbed the social ladder and is too good for
anything original anymore. And his older brother, Ralf, has changed his whole
life. He is going to be a father but now he has to act like one, he has always
dreamed of being a teacher but now he wants to be a boring business person. His
grandma, who can’t talk, is being distant from her family because a maid
replaced the only thing she can do, cook. She has made a “wall” between them
because she doesn’t feel loved by her family anymore. He might tell them how he
feels but, then again maybe he won’t.
All of this stress, Tony has bad pains
in his gut. His pain comes from guilt, comfortableness, and many other things.
And on top of that, when his new best friend starts doing horrible things, it
doesn’t help his pain at all. He thinks he should tell people about the
situation but, then again maybe he won’t. His parents find out about his pains,
think something is wrong with his problems, so they hire a counselor. That
doesn’t always help so pains begin again. The only thing that actually makes
him feel better is spying on his best buds older sister, weird but it helps. He
doesn’t tell anyone about this except for the counselor, now he is really
helpful to Tony. He might drop the spying and just stick to the counselor, but
then again maybe he won’t.
