          This book is the start of a type of new series. In the last six books it was about Firestar’s life. Now the book has changed, instead of Firestar it is Brambleclaw, Tigerstars son, and Leafpaw, Firestar’s daughter. 

          While he was sleeping Brambleclaw had a dream. The old clan leader Bluestar came to him and said trouble is coming and that they must listen to midnight to save the clans. She also said four other cats would come. Later Brambleclaw decides to try and see if the other cats will meet him at high rock. Once he sees that they are all from different clans he worries the trouble could be pretty big. Nothing happens at high rock so all the cats decide to see if they have any other dreams. Brambleclaw has one about a sun drowned place. They decide to try and find this sun drowned place.

Meanwhile Leafpaw has become medicine apprentice. She has found out that she dreams what her sister is doing if she is not sleeping. She finds out about the journey that way and one night dreams she is being chased and another she was bitten by rats. Are the cats ok? What will happen to them, and will they make it?
