First Shot

First Shot has been David Crandall's dream since he was just a boy. Everyone in his family before him had won it. He has a lot to live up to, but can he?

His only competition, or so he thinks, is the new girl, Misty Cleary. In the Arsenal, the school he attends, if you are last to class, you do push ups, if you misbehave, you get a cold shower, and if you talk back, you miss main meal. Life is tough in the school. Especially since David's father is the headmaster, and is extra hard on him. David battles many things in this book, including the murder of his mother. When Misty and him set out to find her killer, they get more then they can chew off. After two years, David still thinks his father killed his mother, but with no witnesses, and no proof, they cant convict him.

Will David get the evidence to convict the right killer? Will David win first shot? Will he find out who killed his mother? Will he get the girl? Will he even make it threw it all alive?
