Glass

Glass
By: Ellen Hopkins
Glass is a great sequel to Crank. In Glass Kristina really wants to stop her meth problem but she can’t every time she tries she ends up breaking and just having a little bit more.  Kristina also has a baby to take care of now. Little Hunter Seth, she soon realizes she is not a good mother. But she soon starts not caring very much. While Kristina strives to break up with the monster Bree is growing stronger tempting Kristina to just have some. Kristina finally breaks and she drives to Stockton to have a couple tokes with her old friend Robyn. There Kristina meets Trey. Trey and Kristina start dating and spending almost every night together when he comes home.
Back at home Kristina takes way more meth then she should. One day while watching Hunter Kristina falls asleep and something bad happens. Her mom ends up kicking her out. Kristina decides to live with Trey’s cousin Brad. Brad is a dealer so he is stocked up with meth. Brad also has two daughters. Kristina and Brad become very close. They end up sleeping together while Trey is gone. Sadly Brad’s wife comes home and kicks Kristina out. Trey and Kristina live together and start dealing meth. They were starting to leave town because Kristina was in some big trouble. They end up making a dumb mistake and get caught and thrown in jail. Kristina finds out she is pregnant again. All she hopes is that when this is all over she and Trey get back together, she will earn the love of Hunter and her new child. But mostly the monster will be just a bad memory.
