Julia was never normal. She could feel other's emotions. She was a social outcast. But her life changes when her car breaks down in the middle of nowhere on her way home from work. She decided to take a shortcut home through the woods, where she is attacked by an animal but is saved by a boy named Nicholas who suddenly is always close to her. But when Nicholas is attacked by a group of guys Julia finds him unconscious and takes him to the emergency room. Just when Julia thought that things couldn't get worse, Nicholas disappears from the hospital.
