The book Muskrat War is a very hooking book it will grab your attention and you cannot keep your face out of your book. The book is based in the 1800’s. The book is about a boy named Pinch and his family and friends that live in a town named four corners. The town is very poor and is eating only about one or two bites of bread a day. One day this guy named Mr. Short asked Pinch and Charlie to watch this bag of furs. Mr. Short says not to look in the bag and he will be back in a couple of hours. About 2 hours passed and a lady named Mrs. Long comes and looks at the furs and wants to buy them for 500 dollars apiece. When the time comes Pinch’s dad sells the muskrat furs and Mrs. Long never comes back to buy the furs so Pinch’s family has no food or no money.
