The Hobbit
Or
There and Back Again
By: J.R.R. Tolkien
The Hobbit is a book about a hobbit
who doesn’t know excitement or adventure, just a nicely furnished hobbit hole.
One morning he meets a wizard who he only remembers because of fireworks long
ago, his name is Gandalf. See this Bilbo Baggins, the main character, is half
Took and half Baggins. The Baggins never go on adventures or do anything
unexpected whereas the Took family go on adventures and do everything of that
sort. This book tells about how the quietest little hobbit that, until then,
never did anything unexpected went on an adventure.
