The book I read was Trapped. I really love the book! It went into detail with every little thing, not leaving the reader hanging. First of all, this book is in first-person point of view. The boys name is Scotty Weams. He tells the reader all that happens.
To start off with, this book introduces everything to the reader, so they know whats going on. Anyways, what I am trying to get to is Scotty and his friends Pete and Jason are planning on getting picked up at school, but that idea got thrown out of the window.
No one came to pick them up, whick meant they were bound to sleep at the school. Things got even more nerve-racking when the boys found out that the "Hot Girls From School" were having to stay at the school as well. Now remember, the pipes all froze up, leaving them there to have no heater, water, etc.
The moral to the story is, will they return home to their warm, toasty homes, or will they end up not returning at all?
You never said why they had to stay at the school or why the pipes were all frozen up. I have read this book before, but others might get confused why they didn't just walk home.
