Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

The Last Olympian
By: Rick Riordan
Remember the Greek gods? How they are just a myth? Well, you’re wrong, they’re real. Sometimes they have children with humans; we call them half-bloods. My name is Percy Jackson, and I’m a half-blood, Son of Poseidon God of the Sea.

  The Great Prophecy, which states:
A half-blood of the eldest gods
Shall reach sixteen above all odds
And see the world in endless sleep
The hero’s soul, cursed blade shall reap
A single choice shall end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze.
Nico d’Angelo, son of Hades decides that the only way I can survive the fight with Kronos is to take a swim in the River Styx. The river that flows in the Underworld is like a boiling pot of acid, this is the only way to become invincible.
Kronos, the father of all the gods, is coming to take over Mount Olympus and destroy the gods, to create a new chapter in history. As I lead my friends, and fellow campers to the final stand against Kronos. We learn that there is a spy and Kronos knows all our plans and where we weakest. Of course Kronos strikes where we are weakest, and then when back-up comes, Kronos army retreats.                                     Percy learns that his friends will do anything for him and Olympus, even if it means death. The war is not over. They have only suppressed the army of Kronos, not killed, he will come back. Maybe not in this lifetime or in the next but he will come back.

  1. I liked how you explained the problem and explained the prophecy which is a very important part of the book. I also read this book twice and you explained very well.

  2. This sounds like a really good book my brother and sister have read this book and I don't really think it will interest me though. I suggest some spelling revision cause somethings don't really make sense.

  3. I loved how you added the prophecy because that sounds important. Some things were kind of confusing to under stand so you may want to look over that next time. Your review makes me want to read this book.
