                Janie Gorman has moved out of town.  She now lives on a goat farm. She has to take care of the goats every morning before school and some pretty embarrassing things happen to her. This gives her a bad and weird reputation. She once walks into school with straw in her hair, she gets on the bus with smelly goat poop one her foot, and stuff like that. The only person that really sticks with her and doesn’t make fun of her is her best friend Sarah. They both have a major crush on the school’s Jam Band guitar player Jeremy Fitch.  They become really good friends with a guy named monster. Monster teaches Janie how to play bass and she joins Jam Band. Janie gets to know Jeremy and finds out that he is not as amazing as she hoped. Sarah and Janie do a big history project and some of the things don't turn out as they planed. She always wanted to be normal but she finally realize that she is way past normal.
