Rescue Josh McGuire

We found Josh! We found Josh! The book starts when Josh and his dad are hunting in the mountains. Sam (Josh’s dad) shoots a sow that had a cub. Josh couldn’t sleep because he's worried about the cub that is probably freezing to death. After they shot the sow Josh saw this furry thing run up a hill. That night he goes looking for it after his dad went to sleep. When he finally found the cub, he started coaxing the bear with cookies. When he brings the bear back, he takes care of it. Josh gets lost in the mountains so the Fish and Game wouldn’t kill the bear. Sam is a drinker and has a bad attitude. Sam blames himself for Josh’s brother Tye’s death. He died in a car wreck. I really like this book because it was kind of funny, but it has some sad parts. I would encourage everyone to read this book.
