This book, Alice’s Adventures in
Wonderland, is about a little girl who follows the White Rabbit. She falls into
his burrow and feels like she is falling forever. When Alice stops falling, she
enters this room with a lot of doors. There is a table in the room with a key.
Alice tries all the doors but the key wouldn't unlock the doors. Finally, she
finds a small curtain. Alice opens the curtain and finds a small door. There is just one problem, she’s too tall.
Once she gets through the door, she finds the Cheshire Cat. He leads her to the
March Hare’s house. At the march Hare’s house, the Mad Hatter was there and
also the Dormouse. They were seated at a table in the front yard consuming
their tea.
After Alice’s visit with those lunatics,
she finds the Cheshire Cat again. This time, the Cheshire Cat shows her the way
to the Red Queen’s garden. When Alice arrives, she finds three cards painting
the roses red. When the Red Queen comes to see if everyone has arrived to play
crochet, she finds Alice. Instead of having Alice play crochet, she sends her
with the Griffin to hear the Mock Turtle’s sad, sad story. When the story was
done, they went back to the game of crochet.
With all the people the Queen had executed, everyone at the Queen’s
garden went to watch the trial. When the trial was over, Alice started to get
chased. When she was at the small door, she couldn't get out. That’s when her
adventures in Wonderland end. Finally she wakes up and realizes the whole time
in Wonderland was just a dream.
