It’s Not the End of the World
By: Judy Blume
Karen
Newman’s world is turning upside down because of a little word, divorce. Her
parents aren’t getting along the best, all they do is fight and they think that
a divorce will solve all of the answers. “NO! DOVORCE IS NOT THE ANSWER,” is
the only thing Karen thinks of.
Not only has her world turned around
but so has her other siblings too, her older brother is always locked in his
room and is really ornery, and quiet. Her little sister is just a big mess! She
is always whining of crying and that doesn’t help the tension at all! Now she
can’t even bring herself to talk to her best friend about this big problem, she
is just. . . Alone.
“If only I could get them in a room
together, then they could talk and make up.” Karen believes that this will
settle things, but it makes it worse, like I said all they do is fight. Now
that things are out of her hands, she can only deal with the things that will
happen in the future, which she doesn’t know if they will be good or bad. I would recomend this book to anyone who has a heart for a little girl's problems. And I would recomend this book to anyteenager girl (age 12 and up.)
