          Stanley Yelnates was the only passenger on the bus not counting the guard or the driver. Stanley is a teenager that got himself in to some trouble. He was walking on the street when all of a sudden he got hit in the head with some shoes. He picked the shoes up and he looked at them and he took them home.

          Stanley was at home when his father called him to the living room. Stanley saw two police officers standing by his father. Next thing Stanley knew he was on a bus. He was going to camp green lake. Camp green lake is like a boy’s home. When Stanley got there he felt like he was in a sauna. He saw other   boys digging holes. He was worried. Stanley got to his bed and all of the other guys surrounded him.

          Stanley went to the cafeteria and he almost got in a fight. Stanley met this kid and his name was zero. They were best friends.one day zero and Stanley ran off together and they climbed this big mountain and they finally made it out alive. Holes is one of my favorite books.
