The Boy in Striped Pajamas

The Boy in Striped Pajamas

Bruno is a child of a very wealthy family. He has to move from his big house to a house in the middle of somewhere. When his family is done moving in to their new house, he sees smoke in the sky. He runs through all the trees and sees a building with people in blue striped pajamas and are working inside the fence. Bruno runs back to the house and asked his sister about it. She doesn’t have any idea what it is. He goes and asked his mom. She tells him what it is. “It’s a camp for people to work at”.
Bruno goes outside on the swing. His mom goes and tells he husband that Bruno found out about the concentration camp. They both are worried about what Bruno will think or do. A day later Bruno runs back to see the camp and sees a little boy by a pill of scraps of concrete hiding from the guards. Bruno walks up and shocks the little boy. He gets up and runs away. Bruno feels bad for the little boy. So the next day he goes back to the fence, but brings some cookies his mom has made. The boy excepted the apology and gobbles down all the cookies.
The two become friends, everyday Bruno brings food and a football to throw over the fence with the boy. But one day the boy asked Bruno to go inside the fence and help find the boys father. So they set up a plan that the boy will bring a set of pajamas and a shovel, and Bruno will bring a sandwich. The day comes, Bruno runs through the shed and out the window, they meet each other and start digging. It’s raining so it’s faster to dig. When he is under the fence he puts on the set of pajamas. Back at home, his family is searching for Bruno.

The look in the shed and see a sandwich on the floor, and the window is open. The two run over to search, they go in one of the buildings and are trapped and are being led to some other place. Bruno’s family is running to the camp and are searching for Bruno, He is nowhere to be found.

  1. Well that's a little unnerving but I guess I never have liked books like that. I like how you put the suspense at the end good work.
