Perfect Chemistry

Perfect Chemistry
By: Simone Elkeles
Brittany Ellis was perfect or so everyone thought. Even though she had a not so perfect life she had to keep up her perfect image at school. She was head cheerleader she dated the football star everything seemed so right. At home she had a mental sister that Brittany cared for more than anything, a father who was barely home, and a very ignorant mother. She was starting her senior year and excited to see her boyfriend Collin again. She was already nervous for her school year so when she got paired up with the gang member Alex Fuentes as a chemistry partner she knows then that this will be the hardest year she has gone through.
Alex Fuentes hot, strong, and not a very good guy… at least that’s what everyone else thought. He lived in a not so perfect home with his mother and two brothers. His father was shot because of a drug deal. Alex was determined to not end up like his father but fell away from that when his family needed protection so he joined the Blood, a gang. Alex didn’t like the perfect white people he went to school with. He stuck with his friends and they stuck with their’s. After getting paired up with the super-hot but at total snob Brittany Elis Alex makes a bet. This bet will require him to step up his flirting game a lot, if he wants to keep his motorcycle he has got to get Brittany.
Collin changes and Brittany doesn’t want to be with him anymore but what will everyone else think of her? This book is full of secrets, gossip, and love.  Will a hot new love spark? Will Alex win the bet? Will Alex stay in the gang? Will Brittany ever become open with her feelings towards her mother? Read it and find out!
