                This book is placed in the WWII, Spencer is an American boy age 15 and lives in Brigham City, Utah when Pearl Harbor is bombed by the Japs (the Japanese). His brother Robert signs on to the navy and is off to japan to fight. In Germany During this time is Dieter A young boy a year younger than Spencer Is in the HJ (Hitler’s youth) A leader, very young leader at that, digs antitank trenches and learns what it means to be a real leader or so he thinks. He sometime late at night gets a call for a meeting there he meets the furor himself. Back in America Spencer signs on to the new air-born division 17. After hard training he was finally prepared for battle. These two boys duel it out one will fall one will rise, but whom? Read to find out.
