At a certain age Cassia goes to her matching banquet. And finds out she is matched with her Best Friend Xavier. The next day she is at home alone for a little while she watches her microchip she got at the banquet. When she watches her microchip Xavier's face flashes on the screen. Then the screen goes dark.Another face flashes on the screen it is another boy she knows Ky. Xavier comes and get her for recreation hour. After recreation hour she goes and to her grandfathers house and tells him about the other face. He asked what she felt about the other face.
A couple days later the go back to her grandfather's and says goodbye. At the age of 80 the society thinks it is a good ideas for the elderly to die so they don't start to feel worthless.
Who will she pick to be her Match??
