Pearl Harbor Attack
By: Edwin P. Hoyt
The Japanese had allied themselves with Germany and Italy in 1940. President Roosevelt took action and placed an embargo on Japan to cut off their supplies of oil, rubber, and steel that Japan needed to fuel its war machine. Japanese leaders felt they had to take action and they attacked Pearl Harbor. On December 7, 1941, Japanese forces launched a shocking air raid on Pearl Harbor, destroying most the battleships of the U.S. fleet. Thousands of American soldiers lay dead, how could have this happen? This book was very detailed and interesting, I looked forward reading it at home. So I greatly recommend this book to all readers and viewers.
I read a book kind of like that, but it was about a boy who's father was on one of the ships. It was a great book lots of action. :-D is book sounds like a book I might read
