 Burned is n outstanding book. As soon as I picked it up I never wanted to put it down. In the book perfect Mormon Payton had a pretty complicated life her father was always getting drunk and beating her mother. Payton never thought of telling any one. Soon Payton met a guy named Derek he was a bad boy. They dated and he changed her. She was no longer perfect little Mormon Payton Von Stratton she was naughty Payton. She was drinking and partying and letting Derek do things that she never thought she would. She seemed happy tell her dad caught her. He scared Derek so they broke up and Payton became even worse. So her parents shipped off to her aunts house. She wasn't happy to go until she saw a super cute boy there. She stayed with her aunt all summer. They grew a special bond. A little while after Payton got there her life was switched around when she found out the cute boy she saw was named Ethan. He was a friend of her aunts. Payton and Ethan got closer and started to date. Payton fell In love they got closer and closer and Payton gave up things she never thought she would give up. Soon summer was over but she was determined to not let go of her summer love. Payton went home with a skip in her step. Only to find out her father was beating the children including Payton instead of the mother. Payton didn't do anything about it and told no one. Soon Payton finds out something shocking and Ethan comes to take her away but they get caught. Something tragic happens. What is it you ask? Well read the book and find out.
