in the book, wahoo and his dad live in a house with a zoo in their backyard. that's right, a ZOO! it's got monkeys, birds, lemurs, koalas, and even a full grown GATOR! the way they earn money is by having their animals go on t.v. shows. they were low on money lately when Derick badger and his t.v. crew came in to ask them for an animal to wrestle on his t.v. show," expedition survival". and not just any animal either. he wants to wrestle their gator, Alice, who is as tame as a gator can be. but he decides not to after Alice nearly chomps him to pieces(he isn't a real survivalist, he's the opposite of that). so he decides to host his show in the everglades( Florida's type of forest, and Florida is where wahoo lives). no gimmicks, but the real thing. only he gets lost. and they still haven't found him yet. and the idiot practically has no common sense or survival skills whatsoever. but i bet they'l find him.
