WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS BY WILSON RAWLS

where the red fern grows is a really good book i think it is almost better than the movie it is an old book . It is about a boy that is walking home from school and hears two dogs growling so he ran over there to see and it was. it was two coon dogs fighting. when he tryd to stop them they one omost bit him so he was scared a little so he grabbed a stick and stuck it between them and they quit fighting and the boy Ron .He took them home and after school the next day he took them out hunting and got a coon so from then on he thought they where the coolest things ever and was proud to have them.

    I absolutely loved the book and the movie but they both made me cry! it is such a sad, but very, very good book.
