When Duke dangles his "little" cousin, Claire over the old bridge in town, and they both fall into the rushing water below, something changes Duke. Something rivery. When Duke sprouts a rhino horn for a nose, everything in his whole family goes haywire. His parents, grandfather, doctor, and his doctor's photographer are turned to stone, its up to Claire to convince him to drop out of his new gang, which is three river trolls on a mission. When Duke refuses, both him and his cousin have to stick around and help the Jim Dandy, Biz "Squeak" and Stump find starts to trade to Bodacious Deepthink for a lucky cricket, Claire finds herself similar to the trolls. But what will happen in the end? Will Claire and Duke find there way home? Will there loved ones ever be turned back from stone? Will the trolls ever get there stars?
