  Between school, boys, and girl drama Patty doesn’t know where she stands in the world anymore… She lives in a home where religion is forced on her. When a summer at Aunt Jeannette’s may seem like a drag, Patty soon finds out she loves it there. She finds the love of her life that summer, Ethan. She soon realizes how much of a monster her father really is. All she wants is to feel welcomed in her home, but she knows that isn’t going to happen.

   During the summer Patty finds out secrets about her father she never wanted to know. When the summer comes to an end she doesn’t want to leave Ethan or Jeannette. The only reason she doesn’t want to go home is because her father is a monster and there is 4 siblings to take care of and one more on the way. How is Patty going to find her place in the world?
