World War II Heroes

World War II Heroes
       By:Allan Zullo

In World War II Heroes it talks about several people that have gone above and beyond what their country asked of them. I will tell you about 2 men who have done everything they could and still did more.
On December 7, 1941 the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor killing hundreds of sailors and civilians. But there was one man who instead of cowering in fear with everyone else he stood on a platform and shot back at the Japanese using machine guns torn off of airplanes.
The next hero I will talk about is a teenager who enlisted in the navy when he was 15. He passed through basic training at the top of his class, but they kept him to teach others how to use the light machine gun. so he went MIA (Missing In Action) and stowed away on a navy cruiser. He was then caught while on the cruiser and they found out his age. Later on in his journey though he saves a large group of men from and explosive death.
