Jax Opus has color-changing eyes that can make people do what he wants. Some people may call this a gift but to others it can be a curse. Jax has just realized his powers and hypnotizes friends, strangers, and foes into doing what he wants, only temporarily.

A special institution instructor Dr. Mako has realized Jax’s special abilities and wants to increase them, for the better or for the worst. By trusting Dr. Mako, Jax can endanger his best friend, his parents, and the entire United States.
