in the throne of fire, two kids named cater and saide embark on an adventure to reawaken the ejyptien sun god Ra. they need to do so before the spring solstice, or the king of chaos, apophis, will emerge from his prison to destroy the earth and swallow the sun, Ra's main source of power. to reawaken him, they need to find the book of Ra, having been split into 3 pieces, before the solstice. while doing so, they recruit 20 new kids to help.
