A friendship for today

Book review number 3
This book is about Rosemary and her friend J.J who live in an all black community
except for dead end which is were all of the white people live. The book begins at the end of 5th
grade. J.J and Rosemary are both really anxious to go to 6th grade. What they don't know is all
the black schools are being shut down.
Rosemary had a rough time at the new school. considering J.J isn't there with her due to
a sickness called polio. The first day of school is very hard on rosemary . all day she was made fun of
blamed for stealing things all because she wasn't like them.
While all of this is going on things at home aren't to good at home either. Rosemary's
father rarely comes home. but one day after school she comes home and her parents are on the couch
with some bad news. Her dad say's its about J.J due to his polio J.J was paralyzed from the waste
doesn't is no longer able to walk.
The question is what happens to J.J? will rosemary ever fell wanted at her new school?
Last of all what will happen between Rosemary's parents?
Nice review, I liked how you game me information but didn't give it away. It could have used some work with grammar but other than that keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThis was a really nice review. I agree with Mandi that it could use some work with grammar but the details are pretty good. It was also suspenseful so that is good.
ReplyDeleteGood job on this review. I got a little lost but other than that it was good.
