"Patrick Truman was beat up and left for dead. He was hit in the head with a baseball bat
then had a gas pump that was pumping gas taped into his mouth. He was found the next morning and taken to
the hospital. He is in a coma, the doctors are unsure if he will survive. The
Sheriff is looking into the case but not very hard. Will there ever be justice?"
Cat is 16 years old, she and Patrick were best
friends tell one day she shut everyone out. She didn’t want friends, she didn’t
want any one. She thought she didn’t need any one. Years after she stopped being friends with
Patrick, he was hurt, and she was shocked. Cat found out Patrick was gay a long
time ago. She never judged him for it, but everyone else did. She didn’t understand
why anyone would stoop that low just because they didn’t like gays.
Cat was determined to find out what happened that
night. She faces many dangerous obstacles. She even has to face something that
she was not prepared for… the past. Something happened a while ago with her,
her brother, and her brothers friend.
The thing that made her shut down and not want any one in her life. Can
she do it or will she turn and run?
Cat gets so many different clues. Clues that
fit, clues that don’t. Everything is all so confusing and hard to understand.
Can Cat piece it together before it’s too late? Will Patrick ever wake up? Will
things ever be okay?
I really like the detail and how you shared that cat was his friend and then shut him out and now it is up to here to figure out what happened and that she has to face the past this book sounds intense and like a mystery.
ReplyDeleteI loved the detail in the review, I just don't like how everybody leaves cliffhangers at the end of everything! Just look at the second Hobbit movie!
